A data controller is a person who determines the purpose(s) for which and the manner in which any personal data is or will be processed
WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?
(In summary) personal data is information about a living individual who is identifiable from that data.
NB: Personal data includes any expression of opinion about an individual and any indication of the intentions of the data controller or any other person in respect of an individual.
WHAT IS PROCESSING?
Processing means obtaining, recording or holding personal data or carrying out any operation or set of operations on personal data.
WHO CAN BE A DATA SUBJECT?
A data subject is a living and identifiable individual whose personal data is processed.
WHAT IS A DATA PROCESSOR?
Any person, (other than an employee of the data controller), who processes personal data on behalf of the data controller.
